In this video we tour the Chicago Loop and learn about some of the buildings from the Chicago School Architecture.

Chicago School Architecture does not refer to a unified “look” like other architectural styles (Gothic, Neoclassical, Modern, Victorian, etc.) but rather the shared set of principals and vision that the architects had for pushing the city of Chicago forward after the Great Fire of 1871.

It is also known as Commercial Style.
