In this video we take a look inside The Rookery Building, Chicago’s oldest surviving skyscraper, completed in 1888 by the architects Daniel Burnham & John Root.

The Rookery is located on LaSalle St & Adams Street in the Chicago Loop. The architectural style is a combination of Roman Revival and Queen Anne with touches of Richardsonian Romanesque.

Frank Lloyd Wright undertook the remodeling of the Light Court in 1905 and added Prarie Style touches.
