In this video we visit the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, a historic billion dollar mansion built for Chicago industrialist James Deering in 1916. Located in the Coconut Grove neighborhood, the Vizcaya mansion sits right on the water.

The accompanying gardens are inspired by French & Italian gardens, while the architecture of the house is inspired by Italian architecture.

In my opinion, this is one of the best things to do in Miami, it is on the National Register of Historic Places, and is the site of many movies, weddings, and quincenearas.
