In this video we travel to Chinatown Chicago to see the Chinese Lunar New Year Parade 2020 (Year of the Rat). Along the way we go on a mini Chinatown Chicago food tour.
Keep watching as we visit some of Chinatown Chicago’s greatest restaurants like: MCCB Chicago, BBQ King House Chicago, Elitea, and QXY Dumplings.
The Chinese New Year Parade takes place each year in Chicago’s Chinatown neighborhood. To get to Chinatown, take the CTA Red Line “L” train and get off at the Cermak – Chinatown stop.
The Chinese New Year Parade begins at Wentworth & 24th street, marches up to Cermak (where the Chinatown Gate is located), then heads west on Cermak. It is 100% free and open to the public and a MUST DO in the City of Chicago.
