In this video we take a virtual tour of The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. The Field Museum is one of the largest natural history museums in the entire world, and was founded in the 1890s.

Visiting the Field Museum Chicago is one of the best things to do in Chicago in 2020.

Its first collections contain artifacts that were on display at the 1893 World’s Fair. The current building that houses the Field Museum was constructed in 1921 by the architectural firm Graham, Anderson, Probst, and White. It is a neoclassical building with Greek ionic columns and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Field Museum has a vast array of exhibitions from dinosaurs like Maximo the Titanosaur (largest dinosaur ever discoverd) and Sue the Tyrannosaurus Rex (largest T-Rex ever discovered). Other exhibits at The Field Museum include Ancient Americas, Geology Halls, Ancient Egypt, Asian & African cultural halls, Underground Adventure, Evolving Planet, and a rotating selection of temporary visiting exhibits.

There are three levels of admission to The Field Museum Chicago from basic to all-access.

The Field Museum is located on Museum Campus, in Grant Park, on Lake Michigan just east of the South Loop.
