This video is all about one of Chicago’s most famous landmarks, the Chicago Board of Trade Building.

Built in 1930 by the legendary Chicago architectural firm Holabird & Roche in the Art Deco architecture style, it forms the LaSalle Street canyon along with the Central Standard building and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago Building.

It has appeared in several films, including Batman Begins & The Dark Knight and is a popular tourist attraction as well as backdrop for Chicago wedding photos.

Did you know that this is actually the second Chicago Board of Trade Building? The original stood on the same site from 1882 to 1929.
