As we all know, 2020 has been a tough year and living in Chicago has brought many challenges as the city has gone through ups and downs.

But we’ve made it to the holiday season , a time for giving thanks for our blessings, enjoying festive traditions, and most importantly looking forward to a brand new year.

It’s that wonderful time of year, Christmas in Chicago – and the city always brings it when it comes to the holidays.

In this Day in the Life Chicago 4K Vlog, we’ll be heading to downtown Chicago’s State Street to see the world famous Macy’s (formerly Marshall Field’s) Christmas Windows Displays.

We’ll also visit the legendary Walnut Room to have the storied Chicken Pot Pie and see the Christmas tree inside this iconic Chicago restaurant.

Next we’ll venture over to Millennium Park to see the official City of Chicago Christmas tree and awe at the skyline all lit up in red & green for Christmas.

After spending some time in Millennium Park, we’ll walk up Michigan Avenue to stroll the River Walk and see even more architecture decked out with Christmas lights!

Finally, we’ll hop on a CTA bus to travel to the Ravenswood Neighborhood for the Ravenswood Neighborhood Association Light Up Nights!, a holiday celebration where more than 60 homes in the neighborhood decorate for the holiday season with lights, music, and more!!
